Moscow State Symphony Orchestra on stage

Moscow State Symphony Orchestra will give a performance at Shenzhen Poly Theater today.

The orchestra will perform a range of melodious and elegant music, including Glinka’s “Ruslan and Lyudmila Overture,” suites of “Swan Lake,” “Nutcracker,” “On the Beautiful Blue Danube” and “Voices of Spring.”

The orchestra was founded in 1989 by conductor Dmitry Orlov and comprises members from various Moscow theaters and Moscow State Philharmonic.

The concert will be under the baton of Orlov, who was born in Ukraine.
